Analyse the situation where you live, thinking about the following factors.

• Safety

• Leisure facilities

• Local shops and businesses

Remember to justify the points that you make.

Task 1 - assignment question words

This next exercise helps you to understand typical words in assignment questions.

Task 2 - parts of an essay

When you write an essay, you should include the following sections:

• Introduction - General information about the topic

• Main Body - Specific details about the topic being studied

• Conclusion - Your Evaluation – give your opinion

The student who wrote the sample essay and the sentences in these activities chose Enfield Island Village Estate as the local area to analyse.

Remember that they had to write about safety, leisure facilities and shops.

today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story the process is very simple, each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right.. one of you will then write the first paragraph of a short story the partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story. The first person will add the third paragraph and so on back and forth.. remember to reread what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent the story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached..

Hi!

My name is Mombassa , I am planning to go to university, but I still need to improve in my English language exaclly in my writing, reading, and lestining.

I am studing now in Loughborough college, in Electrical installation. My first language is not English, I am from portugal , for that still have some difficults in my vocabulary and grammar.
