Hello, today I'm going to talk to you about retirement. In Britain people usually retire when they are about 65 years old and they stop working and start getting a pension from the government and sometimes from their job.
I'm at the age when I'm starting to think about retiring but I wonder if I'll get bored. Everybody says it's important to keep busy when you retire so I wonder what I'll do to fill my time.
I really like swimming so that's something I could do two or three times a week. I enjoy gardening, which is quite a traditional thing for retired people to do. I love travelling, but then you need to have quite a lot of money to travel and when you retire you often don't have too much money. I don't mind cooking and cleaning, so that's something I could keep busy with. I would like to learn another language and I think I would enjoy learning to speak Turkish, so I could go to language classes. In fact, when I think about it, I think I'll be quite busy when I retire.
