People have lots of ideas about life in the UK, but sometimes it is not quite what they expected! In this film, ESOL learners talk about their expectations of life in the UK.
In task 1 there is a listening comprehension and in task 2 you can practice using comparative adjectives.
Watch the film then answer the listening comprehension questions in task 1.
For extra help, watch the film more than once and try pausing the film after each speaker.
Task 2 gives you some extra practice at using comparative adjectives.
Watch the film before you do the activity.
Practise using comparative adjectives. Choose the correct adjective phrase to complete the sentence. There is extra language help in the Help box.
These phrases are not all in the film!

I think live in Uk is dificult for strenger. It is no place to lern English for them.
Secondly a lot of things are to expensive for them.
They don't allow to pay for them.
Another problem is to employ for short time. It is very diticult and make stress.
