Motivate your learners to read more for pleasure by getting them to take part in the fantastic Six Book Challenge run by The Reading Agency.

This lesson develops learners’ ability to describe a person, using the context of a lost child in a supermarket. The learners watch a video and then complete activities to check comprehension and practise colour and clothing vocabulary.

This resource aims to give learners the confidence needed to be able to call for help in the event of an emergency.

We are offering a DVD containing a selection of 12 of the most popular videos about UK life, making them available offline for those without reliable internet access. The DVD is accompanied by a CD Rom containing supporting materials for each of the videos, including stage by stage lesson notes and worksheets for learners.

Teachers in the UK can order their free DVD before June 30th.
