ESOL Nexus is turning 2! Join us for an evening of talks and films to celebrate the best of ESOL Nexus to date.
This lesson is about CV writing and is aimed at lower level students. It provides students with a simple example of a CV, and uses this as a model for them to use to handwrite and then type their own CV.
Someone on the phone shows how to deal with incoming phone calls from a range of people. This includes unwanted calls (e.g. marketing cold calls). You can download the whole unit here, or download individual topics as you need them.
‘Working in a Shop’ is aimed primarily at learners who are already working in retail or who want to find out more about working in the sector, but will appeal to any learners who need to talk about processes, prices or career development. The resource uses authentic sound recordings as a springboard for practice in all the skills in this context.
