Learners practise complaining politely and dealing with complaints.

In this lesson, Sunita finds out all about how the electricity reads the meter.

An emergency

These resources aim to give learners the confidence and the language to deal with situations they may encounter in their homes. In this lesson, Arjun shows Sunita an interesting way to deal with unwanted callers.

Amir's story

Amir's Story is a resource for all beginner ESOL learners, including those with basic literacy needs.  Learners will develop an everyday story from pictures and write their own text in collaboration with each other.  As teacher, you will be facilitator, guide and scribe.   The text produced can be used for further literacy activities, and suggestions are given for this.
